Bad news for the band :
Further to a sprain in the knee of their drummer, Drixx, the band YORBLIND will
enter Mix' Em All Studio only next March, the 25th.
The production and the mixing will be entrusted to Franck Hueso (Hacride).
The title of their second album, successor of "Melancholy Souls", will be
revealed very soon.
YORBLIND will present to the Chaulnes Metal Fest almost totality of this second
album...
Yorblind will enter Mix'em All Studio next month. 12 songs will be available on this 2nd record. More infos very soon...

Here are the latest news about Melodic Death Metal band YORBLIND :
YORBLIND is not dead, far from it ! The band will enter Mix'em'All studios
(HACRIDE, DSK...) with sound engineer Franck Hueso from Feb. 9th to March 5th
2008 to give birth to the first album "Melancholy Souls" successor. You should
expect some surprises !
Website and Myspace page will soon be updated. New lineup photos will soon be
available. You will be able to check how ugly our new bandmates are !

The band is pleased to announce the joining of Cedric (Whispering Tears) on
drums, Vincent on bass and JP on guitars !
The band is currently working on its second album that will be recorded later
this year.

The band has decided to part ways with three members: Dje, Efflam and Seb. The
reasons have been many and varied: lack of communication, lack of availability, geographic
distance for Efflam and so on. Thus the band has decided not to put their next EP
("Solutions", which was in the process of being recorded) online and to concentrate on finding
new musicians and the making of their second record. Yorblind will therefore not
be able to maintain the 29th of April gig in Laon. We obviously wish the best for
Dje, Efflam and Seb, without whom the band would not be what it is today.
Watch out for better news very soon...
Yorblind's next EP will be called "Solutions..."! The band is currently in studio recording rythm guitars and then bass guitar. A studio report is available here.
The cover will not be on the new EP for various reasons (financial, copyright...). It will be nevertheless played live so you will be able to enjoy it very soon...
The band has entered the studio last week-end. Drums recording is done and pictures are available in the "gallery" section. More to come very soon...
YORBLIND will be entering the studio next month to record a 4 titles EP (including a cover).
This EP will be recorded and mixed at the Würm studio and mastered at the Cutting Room in Sweden.
It will be available free for download as soon as the mastering is done.
A studio report will be posted online and will allow you to follow the recording process day by day of this EP whose name will be revealed very soon.

Due to administrative reasons the concert initially scheduled for April the 27th in Dijon is postponed. Another date will be confirmed shortly.
Yorblind welcome their new drummer! Efflam, 20, a young M.A.I. graduate, will
play his first gig with the band on the 8th of April with among others
Kristendom. The band's biography will soon be updated and pictures of the
new line up will soon be available.
Furthermore the band is progressing on writing new material for its second
album which will likely be more brutal and more technical than its
predecessor, while being more varied and as melodic as before.
The "Merch" section will open in the near future. CDs and shirts (short
sleeves, long sleeves and girlie) will be available for online sale.
Bad news for YORBLIND. Drummer Steph has decided to leave the band for
personal reasons. Nevertheless he will be playing next shows until
someone to replace him permanently has been found. The band is therefore
looking for its new bruiser...
Additionally and for organizational reasons the band's participation at
Orleans on March the 11th has been cancelled. YORBLIND will be playing
in this city later in 2006.
The band is featured in latest french Rock Hard magazine (with In Flames on cover) with an interview and a track on the CD sampler. The song, "Hybrid", is the first track of the "Melancholy Souls" album.

- 2006-01-13 in TAPAGE NOCTURNE on radio UYLENSPIEGEL (Nord / Pas de Calais) - 91.8 FM from 21:00 to midnight.
